Membership is a Privilege

When accomplishment depends on information and access to the experience of others we think of networking - interacting with people, usually based on common interests or concerns, and remaining in contact for mutual assistance and support. Effective networking requires a platform and the Interministerial Retiree Group of Ottawa (IRGO) is an excellent example. Picture it! Members, from different walks of life, sharing their experiences and offering advice! What better way to ensure synergy amongst Ontario Public Services (OPS) retirees?

Members can also access employment opportunities, share ideas, participate in special events and learn from each other. In other words, the IRGO represents a new way of “Staying Connected” after retirement from the OPS. It also provides important links to organizations of interest to retirees as well as volunteer opportunities within our community.
